So....
Dubbed voices for the riders...who thought that was a good idea!?! Think it's been withdrawn for the moment.
Pretty disrespectful really.

Actually this could have been the greatest show of all time if they'd gone full on comedy regional accents.
Marc Marquez as a Geordie Zarco as miserable northerner Fabio with a Charles Hawtree voice Pol as a Scouser Rossi as a Cornish yokel.
This could have been epic

I always imagined Rossi more as a Sid James type character...
I've got Prime but haven't seen any of the "show". Hadn't crossed my mind to watch it TBH.

Just watched first episode. I knows it's got a lot of ground to cover but it's narratively lacking cohension. If you knew nothing about MotoGP you'd not really know why Marquez was off for so long, you also don't really know good he is. Ok they tell you but it needs a little more background story. This is where Hitting the Apex is easily beating this.
Drive to Survive makes F1 seem more thrilling that it is. It does a really good job of showing the politics and underlayer of F1. Not so sure this will be anything like so far. Oh well, got nothing else to do for the next few days so I'll watch the lot.

Totally agree with Mekon. It’s a lazily made splatter gun of uncohesive clips. Does absolutely nothing to elevate the sport like Drive to Survive does, or at least did for F1.
Disappointing.

I think they have fallen into the trap of letting the season tell it's own story and thought they didn't need to structure it too much. I'm not sure we really seeing much more of the riders than we already know anyway. I guess Miller as AEsp have carried a lot of the weight of the filming but I'm not getting the same sense of how the teams work like I do with Drive to Survive, the Dovi 'undaunted' film seems a better behind scenes look at Ducati for example.
The biggest problem is it's simply not compulsive viewing, the title race for example lacks tension because we aren't even showed the actual points, just the positions.
I think the only thing I've learned so far was how the riders really didn't want to do the minute's silence and then ride their bikes. I've also not even seen Mir's mother.
