What is Sykes doing? Birdy?

Suspect so, not sure if he would adapt to the Ducati though. It burns up tyres and you know what Sykes is like...

Brookes is a bit Hislop in BSB, up one season, down another.

Decent talent level this year if Sykes appears. The O Show will look back on 2021 as the one that got away. Not sure where MacKenzie will go if he manages to defend the title. If he couldn't find £200k down the back of the sofa this year I don't expect it will be any different in years to come.
Major consistent players = Sykes, Haslam, O'Halloran, TMac Big hitters = Bridewell, Iddon, Irwin, Hickman Who knows? = Skinner, Andrew Irwin, Kent, Ryde, Buchan, Ray.
The rest are filler. Skinner has to do something or be stuck in Bradley Ray BSB oblivion.

Has Josh Brookes not signed yet?
I would put him in the big hitter category.

Yeah, big oversight. He's been retained by Bird I think. I'm hoping he carries some pace this season.
Still looking like it will be good. At least 10 riders who could win races.

Is PBM even racing this year? They need a sponsor. I can't imagine Bird wanting to cover it and also run without sponsorship.

Brookes and Sykes confirmed with PBM. Will Brookes regain any form?

Sykes has never raced a Ducati, and will now have no TC. Its a great team, but they couldnt get Brookes up there last year.
Will he beat Brookes?

Odds stacked against him beating Brookes. 14 years since he raced in the UK with the weird array of tracks (Cadwell mountain!! Knockhill, the Thruxton bumps, narrow Oulton). He'll likely go well at Donington and Silverstone but with no experience of a V twin and a bit of a set up perfectionist i see Sykes as mid pack. If he starts beating Brookes then Josh might as well pack it in.

The PBM top rider should beat Oxford Racing rider, Bridewell. Similar for Haslam, but he is on a Kwak and its not been so long since he rode in BSB. Iddon had a load of DNFs mid season which was his downfall.
