The historic intervention comes after a failure to invest in home-grown energy and drive reform in the energy market. Putin’s weaponisation of energy supply has exposed the UK’s vulnerability to the volatility of global markets, coupled with a regulatory framework which is no longer fit for purpose, which is driving up bills and holding back economic growth.Tory 2015 manifesto Part of Luxembourg's modern landscape. Are they that bad?

Is there a cure for Trussticular cancer?
Why yes. Remove the fucking thing.
Trouble is, the Tories are constantly metastasizing.

It's a slightly depressing thought that BlowJob is no longer Britain's worst ever Prime Minister.

A common criticism of renewables is that they don't work unless it's windy/sunny. Of course they don't. This isn't a criticism of renewables but of the practice of connecting them directly to the grid without proper control. It's really important that we now do more to match demand with supply. Incentivise storage of excess production instead of the ridiculous practice of compensating generation constraint. Renewables just moved up a gear. Probably invisible to most people outside the industry but a lot of development projects just came online and there is a severe shortage of employees. It's a critical time to plan the interface between the upcoming generation and the demand and, to be honest, attention on fracking isn't helping.

news.sky.com/story/liz-truss-sticks-by-plan-but-admits-mistakes-and-says-top-rate-tax-cut-was-chancellors-idea-127099933 points I picked up on that. 1. The prime minister said she has "learnt from that" and "will make sure in future we will do a better job of laying the ground".Not publishing the OBR alongside the mini-budget spooked the markets, but Miss Trust isnt going to bring forward publishing the forecast. 2. Ms Truss also doubled down on the decision to remove the top rate of income tax (45%) as "it's part of an overall package of making our tax system simpler and lower" - but admitted the policy was not discussed with the cabinet.Stressing that her government has "a very clear plan", Ms Truss said she understands "how worried people are" as the country faces a "turbulent and stormy time".So the policy is the government's but it wasnt discussed with the cabinet 3. "It was a decision that the chancellor made," she Ms told the BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme.Shortly after Ms Truss's interview, former culture secretary Nadine Dorries accused the PM of throwing her chancellor "under a bus".FFS, I'm agreeing with dumbo Dorres She brushed off interest rate rises on the BoE, they are independent from government. They had to jump in to stop pension funds running out of liquidity. Seems everything she does is correct, everything going wrong is someone else's fault. Miss Trust has slopey shoulders.

No wonder why the markets have no confidence in the UK when The Treasury put out shit like this, which Martin Lewis runs some figures past.
The 'savings' on energy arent actually savings on energy, we will pay more than the previous year.

It's a slightly depressing thought that BlowJob is no longer Britain's worst ever Prime Minister. I'm not so sure. At least she might believe that she means well, despite not understanding what her actions will mean whereas Johnson just didn't give a fuck. I like that Mary Truss wants to answer a question, despite being unable to because lets face it, Johnson remembering what to say irrespective of the question and adding something in Latin and saying Captain Hindsight was pretty tedious. As harmful, toxic and dangerous as each other.

Miss Trust actually chose this M People song herself to walk on stage to at the Tory party conference. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-63145566You've done me wrong, your time is upYou took a sip from the devil's cupYou broke my heart, there's no way backMove right out of here, baby, go on pack your bagsJust who do you think you are?Stop actin' like some kind of starJust who do you think you are? OR DID SHE? There is a song from Primal Scream with the same name, about fighting back, which is more fitting. No, her face walking out didnt say wrong song you pricks. I reckon she chose M People's song as she liked the tune and didnt listen to the words, how apt It would be funny if her people played the wrong song though, clear lack of communication. I was blind, now I can see You made a believer out of me I was blind, now I can see You made a believer out of me I'm movin' on up now Getting out of the darkness My light shines on My light shines on My light shines on I was lost Now I'm found I believe in you I got no bounds I was lost Now I'm found I believe in you I got no bounds I'm movin' on up now Getting out of the darkness My light shines on.........

It was some speech. Full of utter bollocks. I wonder what the "energy crisis in Scotland" is. Could it be the same energy crisis that the whole UK is experiencing? Or is it the fact that Scotland is generating loads, exporting loads, yet paying through the fucking nose for it?
Also, she claimed that the UK is doing more for energy customers than any other country in Europe. I mean, even vaguely that is nowhere near true.
The best bit though, was hearing her moan about how terrible the 80s and 90s were. Can't quite remember which party were in power during those awful times 🙄
In other news, the new home secretary is even more monstrous than the last home secretary. Who the fuck thought that was possible?

Kamikwazi: I want to cut income tax by 1p, abolish the 45% rate, no public spending cuts, no info on how to fund this, I wont publish the OBR findings. Miss Trust: Sounds like a great plan. Only I have the courage to implement this, a revolutionary growth strategy. Lets do this. Investors: What? You are crazy. We are out. Sunak: I told you so. Miss Trust/Rees-Mogg/Bravermann etc : You are the anti growth coalition. Kamikwazi: At least I have the best nickname for a chancellor in history.
How will anyone think the UK's economy is in safe hands with Miss Trust in charge? Who will be the next chancellor?
Sky News: It means he is the second shortest-serving UK chancellor on record. Conservative Iain Macleod is the shortest-serving chancellor after dying of a heart attack 30 days after taking the job in 1970.
I've heard Miss Trust say to the public the trendy phrase 'I've got your back'. And will be sticking a knife in it.

Fucking chaotic. Truss quoted backing him to hilt and now he's sacked. Boris will be laughing his cock off. I'm not. This lot are trashing the UK economy.
On the positive side it's a gift for the SNP
