Shit.
I recall having a laugh about him with Niall Campbell back in the JSS600 days and recall Niall's facial expressions about how he couldn't beleive some of the shapes he was puling.

For a minute I was assuming it was some older Keith Farmer before my time but it actually is the 35 year old Keith Farmer. Shit. Too young.

RIP Wilco. Proper guitar hero.
Years ago a mate of mine, a big Dr Feelgood fan, strolled into a pub and was impressed by the many posters of the band on the boozer walls. He said to the barman that he'd have loved to meet Wilco as he loved his style. The barman said well it's your lucky day mate, he's over there having a pint. My mate went over for a chat and said Wilco was so friendly and chatted for ages with him. What a guy.

Only saw him live once I think and it was his "farewell tour" after his cancer diagnosis. Norman Watt-Roy was on bass and it was proper goose pimples stuff.
A real legend, RIP.

George 'Doddie' Weir, 52.
I remember him making his international debut. He became a national hero.
He could have hidden away, but wanted to do what he could to raise more awareness for MND. Terrible decline for him. Poor chap.

From her solo career as Christine Perfect to her days in Fleetwood Mac I always enjoyed listening to Christine McVie. RIP Christine. Gone but not forgotten.

Brilliant musician, terrific singer, tremendous songwriter, part of one of the most extraordinary bands of the 70s/80s, trailblazer for women in a male dominated industry. RIP indeed. Not sure it's particularly sad though. She was 79. Both her and Stevie Nicks always seemed younger than they really were.
Makes me feel old as fuck though. I'm in that age bracket where cunts have started dropping and my record collection is increasingly turning grey, cold and clammy. Angus Young will be the final straw I expect.
