Bonkers first laps in the SPR. Result to be confirmed tea time. Rules are rules at the end of the day. 😁😁😁

Hope Sykes & Davies are ok. Not a good weekend for them.
Exciting from Rinaldi & Toprac, cant see Rinaldi dong that again. Redding had another good recovery. Did Rea go on the green on the last lap, T9, before the back straight? TV cut away just at the wrong time but it looked like he might be running wide. No onboard video from a rider behind to confirm either way though.

Good and bad weekends racing for obvious reason. Found it better than Motogp this weekend in terms of racing. I bet Rea is wishing he'd got himself a faster team mate now.

Guess its like VAR in football, some grounds have it and some dont.

Hopefully not too bad, the way Mathias checked on him to see if he was ok was worrying. Probably best the TV cameras werent pointing that way when it happened. The next 2 rounds are on the next 2 weekends, so guess he will miss 1 or both.

Finally got round to seeing Race 2 last night. What a corker!
Rinaldi finally showd that quality that he clearly had last year on the private bike. He should be a front runner for the rest of the season, possibly taking points off Reading unfortunately, but that's racing as Scott says!
Rea losing his dominance is good for the series, Toprak makes it so entertaining too. Too little too late from HRC / Bautista, but it's good to see him fighting for dignity at least. I wonder if Scott was in the running for a Honda seat? I wonder if he should have taken it if so....
Glad to hear that Sykes is OK, looked a bit worrying when Doctor Mahias was in attendance!
Oh and the track sensors are not part of the track as far as I know, they are Dorna kit they take with them to each round and install them wherever they want. (maybe Euro rounds only thoug?)

I think Rinaldi is either around 6th or lower or has a good round and gets 3 podiums where it all clicks. Like Aragon last year and Misano and Barcelona this year. Like someone mentioned recently, the Ducati has a small operating window and it takes a lot to be consistent at different tracks.

What is this lunacy?
'Sykes is expected to leave hospital on Wednesday and it is so far unclear whether he will be racing at Jerez de la Frontera this coming weekend'
He should be a NO for racing.

It's GP only. They are described as pressure sensors and seem to be tubes which detect when they are squashed, a bit like the ones that count axles and traffic speed on the roads. I guess the tubes themselves probably stay laid on the exterior of the curves, but the rest of the system is part of the travelling circus as far as I understand.
