Shame SPR wasnt on TV. On live timing it looked like Rea had it covered, Toprac 2nd, Locatelli 3rd, Rinaldi 4th and Redding 5th. Looked a good race between the Yams and Redding.

Was on player but with no commentary, weird. Busy race, easy to blame Redding but Ducati riders seem to have to over ride just to compete with the Kawasaki's and Yams.

Toprac & Locatelli penalised for exceeding track limits so Rinaldi 2nd.
1. Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK)
2. Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) +3.542s
3. Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK) +3.600s
4. Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK) +4.343s
5. Scott Redding (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) +4.501s

Just watched SPR, Rea had it covered from the opening laps, comfortable win....probably riding better now that he's passed his bike test ;-)
Shame for Locatelli but rules is rules!!

Gerloff has now wiped out Toprac, Rinaldi and Rea (although Rea stayed on but he had a go), so he needs to go for Redding next to even it out He has the speed but not the brains it seems. JT was saying its the rejigged grid after the SPR causing the issue, but BSB R2 & R3 go off the previous race's fastest laps. Nonsense JT.

Now he passed Vinales into a fast corner and lost the front and crashed. God not on his side this weekend.

Rea invincible at Assen again, once Toprac had been taken out. Toprac might have stayed with Rea but now we wont know. Hell of a pass by Redding on Locatelli, one of those fast Assen passes with zero margin for error. Doubt Locatelli will mind too much, 1st podium.

At this level you should be able to adjust your corner speed and braking points for where you start on the grid. As you say, nonsense. He's a crazed loon at the moment.

Gerloff seemed to gesture to Toprak as if he was the one making the mistake, seemed clear to me…Gerloff in way too hot. Great to see Locatelli get the podium he deserved.

An emotional Redding in parc fermé after Race 2. They're all pretty hard when it comes to shrugging off/hiding injuries or recovering from operations, but when it's personal, sometimes there is no hiding from it!
