I think this is the problem with any extremity, it does not allow for reasoned debate and decision making. Agree 100% with this. It's also dangerous to define every movement by its extremist element which is usually a tiny minority. Hundreds of thousands peacefully protested against police brutality during the summer (and were subsequently victims of police brutality for their troubles). These people cannot be defined by the comparatively small amount of rioters who caused mayhem on the back of it. What happened yesterday was completely different. This was a mob of thousands who, in their entirety, stormed the capitol building with the intention of overthrowing democracy. It was an attempted coup, albeit the shitiest coup in history. It also needs noting that, although they were right wing thugs, their actual allegiance isn't to an ideology but to one man. This is crucial. They are in a cult. How the fuck do you deprogramme 74 million cult members?

There are also highly credible reports that Trump repeatedly blocked requests to deploy the National Guard (compare this to the hordes of military deployed in D.C. during the summer for peaceful protests) and that Mike Pence eventually authorised their deployment.
If this is true then he needs to go today, in fucking handcuffs and leg shackles. It's utterly astonishing that he's still president after yesterday.

How the fuck do you deprogramme 74 million cult members? I dont think thats the case, a lot of the 74 million would vote for the Republic party no matter who was in charge (as proven). Just as over here some people have always voted for the same party all their life. I've not read or heard a single Republican politician saying what those muppets did was the correct thing to do and Trump didnt incite them.

I dont think thats the case, a lot of the 74 million would vote for the Republic party no matter who was in charge (as proven). Ordinarily I would agree with this but there are 2 significant differences this time. 1. The Republican party has, over the last 5 years, become the Trump party. Every cunt is expected to swear allegiance to the glorious leader and his kids are his closest aides and natural successors, similar to a Mafioso or a dictatorship. 2. Given 1. and given the utter narcissistic, racist, incompetent shitshow of the last 4 years, you would expect his support to drop, leaving just the hardcore of Republican supporters that you mentioned. Yet his support increased by 13m votes. Over 20% MORE voted for him in 2020 than in 2016. This can't be explained by "loyal Republicans", particularly given that a lot of Republicans would actually have turned against him which would make that 20% figure conservative.

People pushing each other out of the way to put as much distance between themselves and Trump as possible.
You know you've fucked up when even Priti Patel is putting the boot in.
Apart from Farage, who appears to have gone mute. The champion prat.

They Republicans are doing what the Democrats have been doing for 4 years with the Russiagate nonsense...same behaviour, different flavour. Both sides are as bad as each other.
But the Democrats now have control of the Senate so no more excuses that they can’t get things done. It’ll be interesting to see what transpires in the next couple of years, but I won’t be holding my breathe, both parties are beholden to their corporate donors so nothing with really change.

Remember this PATRIOT? Good spot! Substantiates the rumours that right wing agitators infiltrated the BLM protests to cause trouble. Here's the same cunt posing with Giulliani
