Both riders OK thankfully....Pedrosa will join the restart. Expensive weekend for KTM and Gresini!

I reckon the race was going to be more interesting before it got stopped. Some interesting battles lower down but a lot of expectation that resulted in nothing as well.
Ducati must be wishing they had signed a moto2 prospect rather than Miller now. I bet he finishes the season 8th

I wonder if Aleix has been kicking the shit out of a MM93 effigy

M3, some bad call for those who chose slicks and Oncu not changing in time. No very professioal.
M2, Gutted for Ai Ogura, but looks like he is taking to the class. Need a decent jap rider in motogp soon.
Mgp, hetic before the red flag. Part 2 was not so Intresting, but a dominant Martin. Ducati factory just can't get it right.

Ducati don’t have such a big advantage now in terms of speed, the Yamaha and Suzuki ride height devices are making a difference on corner exit. Agree wrt the restart, the race wasn’t as exciting as it looked like being pre-red flag.

Vinales must break a lot of mirrors or something. He looked like he had half decent pace before the restart.
I wonder if Pedrosa is lacking a bit of race fitness? I guess it's one thing doing loads of test laps without the adrenaline pumping and another to have daft bastards on all sides.

Pedrosa did well, 7 seconds behind Binder in 4th. Marquez won’t be getting any Xmas cards from A.Esp!!….the first incident was hard, the second not so much…

It's good to Marquez gives no fucks but it seemed to cost him big time in the restart as he kept making rash moves that didn't come off and shuffled him down the order. It's a bit like when the Rossi magic wore off and people just didn't move out of the way anymore.

Moto 3. Not the usual large group at the front but I thought it was a good scrap between Acosta & Garcia. Acosta nearly lost the front when Garcia crashed. Absolutely no chance of him settling for 2nd for the title race. Moto 2. One of the better races. Bezzecchi' 1st win of the season and is still in with an outside chance of the title. 44 points behind with 8 races to go, but Gardener not looking likely to finish lower than his 4th in Austria unless he DNFs. MotoGP. 1st time winner Martin. I thought after the fire on the track that might need re-tarmacking. Guess because of the slope on the track it spread it out rather than a hot spot under the bike. Mir is 3rd in the championship which is a surprise. Austria was his best finish of the season, 2nd. 3 3rds. Another season of spread out podiums beteen several riders. Zarco has gone off the boil in the last 3 races, Quartararo still consistent. He has sorted his head out and looks likely champion. resources.motogp.com/files/results/2021/STY/MotoGP/RAC/worldstanding.pdf?v1_cd07f05a&_ga=2.88379231.55255514.1628232523-1719984486.1610030341

FQ seems to be taking the non wins as wins so he's happy enough. He just needs no DNFs to rattle him.

To me, Acosta has the spirit of Haga in him. It must be mildly offputting to have someone right up your chuff lap after lap.

Fast in mixed / tricky condition now added to his armory. Martin was SUPERB. Poor old Zarco. 60+ races in MotoGP and then Jorge steps in and wins his 6th, and off the back of a nasty injury.

Hat doffed to Sir Spentcase who said pre season that Martin would prove to be a force in Moto GP, the clever cunt also predicted Mir for the title last season before any of us.

Acosta looks to be a long cunt judging by his tall stance on that Moto3 bike, that should help him when he moves up to Moto 2 or the big lads, but yeah the race craft and confidence is some thing else for a kid his age.
