www.bbc.co.uk/weather/3173363I went there in 2002, hot hot hot. Looks warm this weekend. 2002 the World Cup was on, somewhere, but all the bars had TVs showing the games. If they sussed you were English, it was impossible to get a large beer as they thought English + football + beer = trashed joint. 2019: RACE 1 1. J Rea 2. T Sykes 3. A Bautista SP RACE 1. A Bautista 2. A Lowes 3. L Haslam RACE 2 1. J Rea 2. T Razgatlioglu 3. L Haslam

Apart from that Rea save this is tedious shit.
Sorry the 90s was the golden era and Rea is just the Hamilton of WSB.

It would have been better for the championship if Rea had dropped it but it was some save. I would never call bike racing tedious shit. It's not fucking cricket. Rinaldo rode a great race and the sprint race will be closer. Misano was definitely a better track as a left hander though.

The problems is there wasn't much 'racing' and it becomes men lapping fast for 30 minutes.

Rea is superhuman though. Saving that was far more impressive than Marc saving a bike that weighs 40 kilos less. What was Gerloff's penalty for? Blasphemy?

Theres a certain inevitability about this championship already. Rea has a bad day at the office & still increases his lead.

Actually his lead slightly decreased but that's being picky. Let's put this into a bit of perspective. Rea is a phenomenon, I'm not a fan and was delighted that we had a different winner today but the guy is doing in WSB what Doohan did in 500 gp's. Dominate. Can't remember a whole lot of animosity to Mick when he was blitzing every cunt for years. Rea had his learning years on an uncompetitive Honda and only started winning when he got the Kawasaki gig as team mate to Sykes. He was a bit of a cunt to him and pretty soon became top dog becoming ruthlessly efficient. Plenty have tried to knock him off his perch and when Bautista won 11 on the trot and it looked like we finally had a new top dog i was loving it. We all know what happened next and i grudgingly admired JR for the way he took the title that year. Granted it can be tedious to see the same guy doing the winning but there are genuine race winning contenders in Redding, Toprak, Gerloff, Lowes, Davies and Rinaldi. If Marc Marquez hadn't crocked himself we would be looking at a similar level of domination rather than the close racing we've seen for the last season and a bit. I personally live in hope that Rea gets duffed up and can't get his legendary rhythm going. Usually the first few laps have been pretty exciting but it's the almost inevitability that's the pisser. Maybe tomorrow!!

What was Gerloff's penalty for? Blasphemy? Skittling Rinaldi at the last round. He fell off in Q and didnt set a time so he starts from the back in the SP race. They didnt show much of him in R1 and he was doing lots of overtaking.

Gerloff is the Dirty Harry of WSB.

What is it about the Yanks and the lord? Spencer was the same and that ended in tears. Gerloff is a talent that's for sure but at the moment his ambition is outweighing his talent.

Oh I dont know, he did ok from the back of the grid in the SP race, I wont spill the beans as its not been on TV yet. Since following him after I put him in my fantasy team I've become more sympathetic to the workings of our Lord. He sent me a message last night in a strange way. That message was I should have picked Toprac.

Maria Herrera has been shit of out luck this weekend. She was doing well yesterday until a slight nudge into the last corner last lap.
Tulli just makes his own bad luck. Just crashed again.

Not sure this Honda is going anywhere. Then again Bautista's style seems very digital watching him. Maybe Honda can't make a decent race bike at this point in time? They've never had what you would called massive success , the best years being in the early RC30 days, mega money RC45 and SP1/2 days and a bit of Ten Kate peaking with Toseland as Rea's bike was also not that great. If this is their full factory effort I think it's a non-starter as they are nowhere near winning or even podium now.
