As much fun as it would be, 9km is a lot to get your head around if you're new to the circuit; I was only just getting comfortable with Almeria after 3 days.

F**king work  Because of our shite NPI process, planning and a general lack of communication throughout the company, my business trip to Hong Kong and China, which has been on the cards since August, was cancelled last week! If they had made the important decisions back in April when my department raised certain concerns about a project and not delayed them, I could've been at Almeria yesterday, today and tomorrow. Instead, I've had to cancel return business class flights and 6 nights accommodation, costing the company upwards of £6,000. I am now, missing out of 3 days of track action and starring daggers at everyone who made the wrong decisions! Bast*rds! |

Whoah!! There are companies which still let you travel in business class?? I need to change jobs...
My company was backing Ryanair's plan for standing only planes....

To be fair, China is a bloody long way (13 hr flight) and we tend to work the very next day, so getting as much sleep as possible during a flight is a necessity. We have the choice of receiving £500 if we travel economy or premium economy as an incentive, but i don't know anyone who has taken the company up on that offer.
