Ginters lives near Donington and has a track day bike. I guess he is in the fast group but makes the others look like novices. Certainly looked that way, hot knife through butter!

Anyone on here doing trackdays should be GoPro mandatory so you can record and share with the group. Be a good topic.

Don't forget the Croft debacle. Move next to a circuit then complain about the noise. Cunts. That's exactly what happened at Jarama. The owners built posh houses all round the circuit, then the posh residents who bought them took them to court for the noise and won. The circuit owners don't care though, they made more money from the housing estates than they ever would from the circuit.

TBH, the last session might have been good when I was going for it, I put the camera on the paddock stand bobbin o the swing arm, looking forward, but the battery was dead!

I discovered the boredom of your own footage in the early 90s. Borrowed a camcorder off my mate and we filmed me teararsing around the outskirts of Leeds. Doing 100 round the ring roads and it looked boring as fuck. Even my attempts at Jimmy McRae down the country lanes was boring looking even I though I was driving like cunt.

I had a rear facing camera on my Aprilia - used to get some good stuff on that riding with mates. Best moment was when all 3 of us got caught by one of those super slow tight mini corners that come out of nowhere and catch you out. I went in way too hot and the guys behind all followed my lead. All 3 of us on completely the wrong side of the road - how we laughed when we watched the footage back. We looked like complete amateurs. Rear facing cameras do give a better feeding of speed than the forward for some reason. That Guintloi vid looked fast!

I think the Aprilia RSV is one of the best looking and sounding bikes there is, from what I remember.
I've got some video footage from onboard when I did a track day at Jerez. A camcorder strapped to the tank. Unfortunately I cant convert the format to MP4 to load to youtube. Its not that interesting anyway.

I love them, I've always thought that they got the back end right straight out of the box, although I have never been able to make my mind up about the front lights. I agree on the sound too, Phil. Although I would be concerned about annoying the neighbours if I got one with a loud can.
