No not the Tyson vs Jones farce, Daniel Dubois (15-0, 14 KOs) vs Joe Joyce (11-0, 10 KOs) for the following titles: World Boxing Council Silver Heavy Title (Trinket but does give you a high ranking with the WBC) World Boxing Organisation International Heavy Title (Worthless) vacant EBU European Heavy Title (Prestigious title) Commonwealth (British Empire) Heavy Title (Not as prestigious as it was but still an important title to the British) BBBofC British Heavy Title (Probably the greatest looking belt in boxing and without doubt the most prestigious domestic title in boxing)
Be on BT sport but go find a stream for this. Probably the best domestic British clash of up and coming prospects since DeGale vs Groves back in 2011. I can't pick a winner to be honest. I like them both and I could make a good case for each of them to win.

That was always the fear that it was too early for Dubois to take that fight. But plenty of people thought he would beat Joyce. I was definitely on the fence for this. I never like to accuse a fighter of quitting. Getting punched in the face fucking hurts. His eye was swollen badly but I think he panicked and wanted out. A loss like that can badly affect a fighter and you can bet your arse he is going to get a ton of shit for this from the very people who were saying he was the real deal. Only time will tell if he can rebuild. I still think he has all the physical tools.

That's sad to see. I'm not high on this event at all but my prediction is that Tyson will come out like a bull and look good for about 30 seconds. Then there will be loads of clinching and Jones will catch him and put him on his arse.

I tried to stay up and watch it but I fell asleep during the undercard. Apparently Tyson won every round but the fight was unofficially scored a draw. From what I just read it sounds like Jones was totally unfit and Tyson was in shape but still struggled even though it was only two minute rounds.

Had Tyson actually been allowed to go for it he probably would have made Jones quit at the least. There was no intentional hunting for knockouts so all pretty pointless really. Rocky vs Thunderlips was the sort of exhibition fight I want to see.

I just watched it. Tyson got himself in shape and took that seriously. The guy hasn't boxed in a long time. Jones turned up and realised quickly he should have maybe done a bit of training for this. I was really surprised he was so out of shape. It was awful to watch if you remember them in their prime but they both seemed to enjoy it. All fun until somebody gets hurt. A less mobile opponent would have gotten stopped by some of Tyson's shots. Fuck getting KO'd at that age. Can't be good. As for this youtube/celebrity fight trend, I'm not really interested. I don't enjoy watching people with no boxing skills boxing. I guess if you like/hate the individuals involved it makes for some interest.
