I read he was a proper cunt a while ago. He'd have been called out and probably #meetoo'd had he lived.

Any cunt that comes up with the Frog Song is a proper cunt.

George Harrison was the outstanding talent in that band and, somewhat ironically, the only one sued for plagiarism.
There's a BBC4 biopic called Lennon Naked. Christopher Ecclestone plays Lennon, as a cunt. It received very mixed reviews, I enjoyed it very much however there is no doubt that Ecclestone was too old to play the part.

I never realised Lennon was such a cunt. Saw a documentary about his early life and had he had anger problems as a youth but no question he and McCartney wrote some decent songs. Post Beatles not so much. George was for me the most talented and underrated of the Beatles. Also a fine musician. He was shut out basically and Wah Wah was his way of telling them as much.

...no question he and McCartney wrote some decent songs. I remember reading somewhere that if he or McCartney wrote a song then songwriting credits were always given to both of them and that second link I posted claimed that Lennon had very little to do with the Beatles after 1965.

Maybe the judge that denied parole to his killer needs to realise he was cunt.

I’m taking that last statement with a large pinch of salt. Revolver, Sergeant Pepper and the White Album were brilliant records and Lennon’s contributions were all over them. Sure, the cracks were showing as a unit and much of it was down to Paul calling the shots. John’s compositions were clear and Day in the Life is a totally brilliant song.

I can honestly say that I've never sat down and listened to a single Beatles album although I doubt there's a track I haven't heard somewhere. Some of the later stuff is good but I've never been a fan. Just don't like absolute cunts being treated like gods. Except Bob Marley. Except him.

What about zeppelin, where they cunts on noodleometer? Jimmy Page would probably be in jail if he lived his 14 year old thrills these days.

These guys were awesome and partied and shagged and why fucking not. What have we got now? Lewis fucking Capaldi and his clones. It's more interesting in the civil service these days than the music industry.

I watched their O2 show from 2007 the other day, Plant's voice was still incredible...he still had the range. They set the bar very high, it's no wonder they are so highly regarded. The standard of music they released when they were so young is different gravy.

Yeah, I remember watching that a few years ago and trying to play along to some of the easy bits. Thought my guitar was out of tune before I realised they had detuned to match his ageing vocals 😂 Not criticising though. I've seen Robert Plant live loads of times and saw Page and Plant once. Always delivers a brilliant gig. Jools Holland interviewed him last week and it's worth firing up the iPlayer for.

Planty's a top bloke and what a knowledge of music he has. I saw The Strange Sensation at the corn exchange in Edinburgh and it's old school standing only with me and the missus front row right next to this fuck off speaker. Awesome gig but i was corned beef for days i can tell you. The Plantster is also a major Wolves fan (even when they were shite) and he is proper old school in the terraces with his mates. None of your Gallagher prawn sandwich shite with old Percy.
