Oh well, possible treble tomorrow. Better for the Irwins as they didn't look that fast in the wet.

McConnell always looks like he's got hypertension and his leathers are too tight.

I was shocked that he is 37. Good Superbike race. Always interesting when different tyre choices in wet conditions play out.

I find the only problem with them is the 'one more lap' scenarios. Would have been interesting if they'd done one or two more laps. Same with WSB earlier as it looked like Redding and VDM were catching the kwaks.

Still think this is looking good for Brookes given his form at Brands. Would have like to see Iddon give it a go but I guess after Irwin went out maybe people starting thinking about just collecting the points. Not been a good last few races for Glenn Irwin.

If Brookes arrives at Brands Hatch and is within 10 points of the title lead or less, he will be champion barring a DNF.

Exciting race that. Rea rode an excellent race. Good to see Kennedy show some form also.

Rea's front end looked like shit to me. Good ride given the bike. Looking like defeat from the jaws of victory for Irwin.

I think Glen Irwin has cracked mentally. But all things considered, who would have thought he would be were he is now after last year. That Honda is a good bike but it is little more than a superstock bike in BSB trim. It will definitely get a lot better next year.

Looks like Brookes was being a cunt after the race, warmed to Irwin after that interview.
Not really wanting Brookes to win the title.

Got to mention Rory Skinner. Outstanding. Needs to move to the world stage pronto. He’s got the x factor no doubt. He rides with measured aggression and imo the best young talent in years. I can see him in Moto 2, hopefully on a competitive bike.
