I'm reading Skagboys just now Pants. Taking my time with it and savouring every glorious line of delicious Leith prose. It really is Irvine Welsh's masterpiece. Franco Begbie is fucking terrifying. No spoilers! That book can be read over and over. It’s so fucking good. Mental note to self. Read again. As much as it's a literary milestone, I don't feel feel that I'll be recommending it to mama Noodle. She's read Barbara Cartland's darkest tomes but I'm not sure she's quite ready for smackalamadingdongjagshagneedle. |
