Another different race winner. The way Ryde handled that it was like he had been winning superbike races for years, kept right in touch for most of the race then put a pass on with a few laps to go. I saw Glenn Irwin drop of the timing and thought he had binned it. Amazing year so far.

Looks like we might see a Superstock 1000 race live? They are up next.

Shows how fucked my memory has become as I've gotten older. When they just interviewed Glen Irwin and he mentioned last years winner Josh Elliott, I thought who the fuck is Josh Elliott? Had to go look him up. Soon as I saw a photo of him I remembered exactly who he was, the team he won with etc.

Maybe because he did fuck all after that? I won't jump on the Ryde bandwagon until another round. Silverstone national is odd and seems to throw up odd results.

Hopefully he is not another Bradley Ray or Luke Mossey. Taking a double and doing pretty much fuck-all since in the case of Mossey.

Wasn't Elliott on a Suzuki last year? This said Ryde fills me with more hope than Mossey.
What happened to Ray then? 2018 started well, went off the boil, 2019 utter shit for the most part and 2020 is mostly shit on a BMW. Has he missed some sort of boat?

Some sort of mental issue I guess. Maybe thought he was going to be in MotoGP by 2019 with all sorts of daft talk being whispered into his ear. Then results dropped off and may have tried too hard to compensate. It's a tricky road from there to get that confidence back. He has had the odd flash of a revival but there is no consistency. Still young enough to make it to WSB but definitely missed the boat regarding MotoGP.

I've just caught up.
Skinner is in a different time zone. I hope he gets a decent ride next year.
Deep down, we all knew Ryde had that in him.

Well Crescent are looking for a replacement for VDM. I was going to say it will probably be one of the current GRT riders but I'm not sure either has done enough? Might well end up being Locatelli instead. But should Locatelli make his way back into the GP paddock then you never know.
