Hopefully they will just write that off as a racing incident. Yes please. We'll end up moto2 style races if we're not careful.

I think Glenn Irwin was close to that, just ran wide, small mistake. Andrew Irwin had the fastest lap for a while. I honestly thought they would take a bit longer to catch up here.
Buchan on 22 points. I thought it would be between him and Brookes for the title. Just seems to be crashing.

I feel that Andrew Irwin was a bit unlucky there. It was an excellent carve through the field. Bound to get another penalty now which will probably back him into making another daft move trying to come through the field. Unlucky that Vickers took him down after he swiped his front wheel. It’s no coincidence that has points on his licence. The guy leaves his brain in the garage and doesn’t learn. It might be entertaining for viewers but he must be short of friends in the paddock. His team manager needs to have a word.Yesterday's crash was 50/50. Today's wasn't a daft bonkers pass, but another DNF. He could have got past Vickers a bit later without having to ride around the outside of someone. If I was his manager, I'd be pointing that out to him. He needs finishes and points. Just heard 3 place grid penalty for R3 and some suspended points unsuspended. So he starts from 6th I think.

It would be easy to just label him a dickhead and punish him. But I think he has tons of potential. Doesn't mean he can be given a pass on any stupidity on track but in my opinion, he didn't do anything wrong today. Just a racing incident. If he can find a happy medium and keep winning, I'd like to see him go straight into WSB with the HRC team.

Rory Skinner. Total dominance so far. What a talent.

Those Honda Superbikes look really powerful. Noticed both bikes pawing the air where you wouldn't expect it.

Rory Skinner. Total dominance so far. What a talent. I thought he was calm in that race. Reckon he could have stretched it right out if he wanted to.

GI started 9th on the grid & teased out a lead whilst Ducati * 3 were mixing it up. Tidy weekend for him, 4th, 2nd 1st.
Weekends points: GI 58 TB 56 JB 56 CI 51
Tight.
Luckily the rain stayed away for BSB, I was watching it approach on the radar. JNR SS have been given 2 warmup laps to fall off before the race.
1/3 of the season done. Silverstone Nation circuit next. Bumpy in places and over tarmac joins where it leaves & returns to the GP circuit. A few fast corners and a few slow corners. Should be another close weekend.

Skinner riding with that motogp style. Shame the races are shit by and large.
Junior superstock was comedy like watching a slow motion replay.
Andrew Irwin will have to play wingman soon as in this short season he's already done as regards the title.
Brookes is meh this season and Bridewell seems to get all emo if he doesn't win.

What do you make of Dan Linfoot situation?
Not riding due to ongoing technical problems with the R1? But he'll stay with the team to explore further avenues....
Sounds to me like either they realistically only have on decent bike OR......Linfoot won't ride a shit bike and that are making him sit out due to his contract?

It will probably be down to money. Cheaper for the team to pay his wages and not run the bike. If he gets a better option, he can leave and the team no longer have to pay his wages. I don't like to shit on people trying their best (especially when it is the last team that Twiggy worked for and he liked them) but maybe sitting the year out would have been better. Poor old Jack Kennedy is looking like having another shit foray into the Superbike class through no fault of his own.

Those Honda Superbikes look really powerful. Noticed both bikes pawing the air where you wouldn't expect it. I was thinking the same thing, mate. I've been holding off looking at this thread because I caught up with the races last night (there's only so much bike racing and UFC my old lady will tolerate each weekend). But Honda do seem to have done things right in BSB this year and whilst the Ducati's seem to have the top end, there's no real shortfall of power from those Hondas. As I understand it this year's Honda has shed loads of power but it's all up the top of the rev range.

Strange how the BSB Hondas have hit the ground running and are super competitive yet in WSB so far they are nowhere near the front. Can’t be the riders so it must be down to electronics. Personally I’d prefer if they chucked the electronics in the world series too. The so called expected carnage in BSB just never happened and credit to the riders who have shown they have the skills in their right wrists.

Yep, it has to be the electronics, or lack there-of in BSB. I don't know the exact details of how little electronics are allowed. I thought I'd read somewhere that some of the BSB bikes have less than their showroom cousins? I'm fully open to being corrected if I am talking out of my sphinny-jones.
