Quickshifters are good but you need to try the full up/down auto blipper.......I’m a sceptic by nature about some bike tech and was one of the “why would I need one” brigade...but try it, it’s great. you can pick up one of the original Tuono V4 1000’s from around £6k. I'd never owned or even ridden a bike with a quickshifter before and I am now in love with mine. 👍🏻 I gave the semi-active suspension a miss, added the auto blipper and saved a few grand.

Exactly Beefus. It really is each to their own. Some people think electronics etc are gimmicky, some will always want the top spec available. I'm happy to have either, but I know that I'll want a quickshifter on whatever I have next as I love it. I doubt Im going to see the traction control light blinking anytime soon, but I will be making thousands of lazy gear changes over the coming weeks :-)

I can see the point of SOME electronic aids on road bikes but if I could save a few grand and lose them then I'd happily do so. I'm not Scottish for nothing.
I'd rather have bodywork crash protection and a SatNav as standard. No reason you can't squeeze a map into these fancy TFT screens.

If I could afford / find a Daytona 675R at a reasonable price I would prefer the ABS version, surely that's the best electronic aid a bike can have? I'm not really bothered that my car doesn't have it, but on a bike it must be great.

I can see the safety bollocks of ABS but fuck me, I need to be able to turn it off and feel alive now and again. Growing old disgracefully is a right, not a privilege.

Lifesaver. Cornering ABS is even better.

Only ever used it about twice in my car. I'm pretty good at judging braking. Same with the TC ESP stuff, keep it just outside it needing to kick in.
