That were good. Redding has got the race pace all right. Davies needs to sort out the start and heโd be there too. Melandri ๐

Davies and Melandri did a lot of overtaking in that race. Will Melandri get a podium tomorrow? I didn't think he had it left in him. looks good for Redding, Rea has a fight on his hands. Lowes was a bit disappointing. Lap times compared to MotoGP:
Rea fastest lap 1:40.801 Redding Q lap 1:38.736
Jerez 1 MotpGP MM Fastest lap 1:38.372 FQ Q lap 1:36.705
Jerez 2 MotpGP FQ Fastest lap 1:38.119 FQ Q lap 1:37.007

Locatelli showing the difference in talent between WSS and Moto2 & 3. He is looking an easy winner in WSS. Are the older WSS lads a bit off the boil, Cluzel, Mathias, absentee Krummanacher. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Locatelli_(motorcyclist) Not a lot of points scored there.

Good race in a chess like way. You knew it wasn't going to kick off for a while at the front. Crafty old blockpass by Redding on Rea, now coming back from that. I think Rea will get revenge in the shorter race though. This really could be Rea's hardest season if they can get enough races together.
Pity VDM blew up and WTF is going on with Lowes? Not a good look when Melandri just saunters back and beats you. Davies with his usual fast at the end a bit like Vinales. Was also expecting a bit more Bautista but I guess Baz was also impressive.

Got to agree about Rea. I suspect his cuntsmanship will prevail in the sprint race unless he does a runner from the off. Hopefully Redding hands him his arse again. Not a fan.

The last person Rea wants to front up to is Redding.

Oh well, as expected. Reddings starts are still duff even with the electronics, I reckon it will cost him the sprint race all season. Pity Toprak essentially got in the way, he'd have been better tagging onto Redding and trying a follow through if Redding ran Rea out.
What's up with Lowes then?

Rea starting the sprint race like a jack out of the box. He was away with it. Good start from Toprack, up to 2nd from 5th. Redding had an average start, followed Toprack at a distance before trying to pass. He tried to out brake him up the inside into T1 (he was actually ahead on the line) and Toprack braked later and continued on the outside lane. Redding moaned about that after. Why? Ex GP rider expecting Toprack to step aside? Shame his bike stopped. Yamaha not having a great season in WSB & MotoGP for engine issues. I reckon Redding would have had him at some point, but in a short 10 lap race he wouldn't have had time to catch up Rea, as proven when Toprack's bike stopped on lap 7.

Pity Toprak essentially got in the way, Nah. It wasnt until the end of lap 6, start of 7 than Redding tried a decent pass, which Toprack rebuked. Redding should have got passed him earlier, left it too late in a 10 lapper.

Jeez, bizarre crash into T1 on the warmup lap. 2 riders not concentrating crashing into each other and nearly wiping out series leader Locatelli.

Redding sorted his start and pace at the beginning, looked unbeatable.

Dominant show from reading, Ducati 1 - 2. Great ride by Rinaldi, Rea has a battle on his hands to retain the title this year. Fair play to Melandri...19th to .9th.
