Be me riding VFR750 with insurance renewal on the 21st August.....
Ring up Hastings to tell them I'm buying a new bike on the 1st August.....
Hastings give me renewal price for the next period, ok seems fair....
What about the 1st to 20th....
OH SORRY WE CAN'T INSURE YOU ON THE NEW BIKE, YOU CAN'T CHANGE YOUR BIKE UNTIL THE 21ST!! IF YOU SELL YOUR VFR BEFORE THE 21st YOU MUST ALSO CANCEL AND LOSE YOUR YEAR's NCB!!!!
Ring up customers services to complain, they'll sort it.....
20 minutes later, no the underwriter won't do a short term change. NO CHANGING BIKES FOR YOU SONNY JIM! YOU WON'T WEAR A MASK AND ARE A CUNT!
Ring up Bikesure, they insure me from the 1st and will accept my no claims earned 3 weeks early!!!
