Harsh maybe? I don't know. Gardner only got 1 season in Motogp and Gerloff has only shown flashes of anything in WSBK. The turnaround time for riders seems to be getting less and less but I think this is a good move. Toprak needs some proper Yamaha competition given Locatelli hasn't really shown what he promised the year before.

Gerloff was likely never forgiven for skittling Toprak at Assen. His head has been mince after that cos prior to that he was in don't give a fuck mode. Probably cos the lord was on his side although even the big man has deserted him.

Gerloff showed a lot of promise which when the chips were down, he couldn't deliver. Shame really, he could have been the second coming, but the lord chose another path for this member of the flock...
And Nozane? He stays? Luckier than Nakagami he is.
I was nearly right with my Gardner to KRT stab in the dark.
