Seen the state of Justin Bieber. Shingles induced facial paralysis. His very young wife also having a mini-stroke.
All very normal even though shingles was a something from my dad's era until the last couple of years.
Well, well. From the Lancet
UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency among others, have argued that the observed frequency in vaccinated individuals was no higher than the expected background rate. A closer look at these figures and analysis of crude real-world data from pharmacovigilance agencies estimated that Bell's palsy occurred more often in the mRNA vaccine groups than would be expected in the general population.

Fucking 'watch out for shingles' advert during WSB on Eurosport. It's shingles season boys! If the Biebs can get it, anyone can!

Good to know that polio is making a comeback. Oddly aligned with uncontrolled illegal immigration. Who would have thought it.
Monkeypox is on the back burner due to Pride month and the fact that literally 99% of the cases were gay men. Don't want to upset anyone with statistics this month.

You just need to be rundown thats all. Got it after me finals. Studying, holding down a job to pay for it and a fondness for dextroamphetamine sulphate probably had something to do with it.

Girlfriend tested positive for covid on Monday, I dunno, what are we on now…Omicron v5 or something?…she’s a bit achy, flu like symptoms but not like full on flu. I’m testing negative so far. Having had it and been boosted I should , in theory, be less likely to get it….but who knows. She didn’t get it when I had it and she’s only had 2 jabs….random!!

3 people at work have had it in last week. They've all been on planes as well. Probably the most likely place.
I've been knackered for 5 days now. Starting to wonder if I've got something even though I only had covid in March.

How the fuck has Scotland got the highest covid rates in the UK when it's so much more spread out and less densely populated? What do you all do up there?

Dr Fauci the dog torturer has now admitted that the vaccine doesn't really appear to do anything to reduce transmission. Not that that one hasn't been clearly evident anyway. More boosters needed though.
