What about all the other people who voted Tory? Should BJ visit every single flooded community which kept him in power? It's not realistic IMHO, although s statement and a pledge to improve flood defences wouldn't go amiss (if he hasn't already released one).

I'm not suggesting he should visit anywhere. There's a sound argument that his presence, including all the security arrangements that entails, would just stretch resources at the site. He should be visible though. Giving press conferences detailing strategies to help these people is the very fucking least that his job demands but he's nowhere to be seen. Could not give a single fuck is very much his message here.

I'm not surprised at the lack of anything from BJ. He probably thinks his belated visits around flooded areas in Nov 2019 was enough. There doesn't seem anything from Tories in Westminster at all. Fear not, he is alive and well, having a 'working break' in Kent at this place.  |
