Had a nice day. Woke up late and had a shower and was straight into Christmas dinner. Ate that and left straight away to visit my brothers to see the nephews and my parents. Stayed there for two hours and left to come back home, pick up my son and then go to my friends to see my godsons. Left there at 21:00 and came home. Got in bed for a nap and woke up about midnight. Only had two small bottles of beer and a shandy all day. Probably the quietest but most productive Christmas I have had in years.
Whilst at my brothers I learned he is now a master technician at Briggs. This has seen him and his wife become big Peter Hickman fans so they are both now following BSB and the TT with plans to do Brands Hatch at the very least next year. Over the years I've taken my brother to a few events and he has always loved them but never really got the bike racing bug until now. They both seemed really in awe of Hickman and what he has achieved.
Over the years I've taken him to Brands WSB (the 1993 'Irish Round' being the first) Silverstone WSB and various BSB rounds. I'm sure he even came to Rockingham BSB with me.
