Roller Girl.
I've never seen Deliverance, but Boogie Nights is a great film. Another that I enjoyed when I was younger was City Heat, which also stared Clint Eastwood. Not a great film, but when you're 12 and you managed to get into a to see a 15 rated film with your big brother, it's a big deal.

Some of you will probably think comics are gay but RIP Stan Lee. If you know anything beyond TV cartoon and Hollywood versions of the characters you'd have also found some amazing storylines in his stuff over the years. A lot of social commentary, some before it's time has come through Marvel Comics.
Pity Disney owns it now and Stan Lee's family sound like a bunch of vulture bastards in waiting.

The MCU films are pure entertainment, nothing more IMO. I take my brain out and watch the pretty pictures; the acting is pretty good and they strike the right balance of humour, suspense and awe. Plus these films are pushing technology and special effects to new extremes. I grew up watching SpiderMan, the Hulk and the Fantastic Four cartoons, but beyond these, the TV shows and the films, I know nothing about Marvel comics. What I do know, however, is that without Martin Goodman, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Stan Lee or Jack Kirby, I wouldn't be able to enjoy any of them.

I'm waiting for Ryan Reynolds to end up here.
I remember Nippon having quite a specific list of people who he hoped would end up here? Not sure how many of his dreams came true? Still waiting on James Corden.

London bands always got the hype in the music press but the music out of Manchester & Liverpool was way better. RIP Pete, big part of my late teenage rebellion. That, and Yamaha stinkwheels..
P.S. Are we allowed to include PB mag in Deadpool?

It's being merged with Practical Sportsbikes apparently. Like in the old days when you purchased 2000 AD and Tornado or Buster with Whizzer and Chips.
