I hope Brad Ray can continue his return to the front of the grid as BSB 2019 comes to a close. But as much as I like the Hickens, I'd prefer Brad to move on to a bigger budget team like PBM or move to WSB. There have been a few disappointing riders on top spec bikes this year, so I can see a lot of changes for 2020.

Brad Ray has had success in every series. He's got a BSB title in him.

Any news on whether it's Camier that'll be getting the Bird ride?

Danny Webb is available again.

I'm sure team owners are fighting over him. Amazing that at one point Webb was punching above his weight with Smith on 125s and is now bob-a-job type rider.

I'm taking an educated guess regarding Camier to PBM. Not heard anything about it yet. Obviously he would prefer to stay in WSB but I think he would need something capable of rostrums to maintain his interest.

So it's not Camier to Bird. Who do you reckon then? Pity Bridewell resigned but I reckon him and Bird would fall out sooner rather than later.
Maybe Shakey will go back to racing now he's grown his hair back?

It'd be nice if PBM gave a youngster a chance. With Brookes they've got a guaranteed front runner (barring injury) so they can take a bit of a gamble with the second seat. Bradley Ray and Kyle Ryde are both 22 and Tarran Mackenzie 24 so they need to step up soon if they're going to progress much further.
I haven't seen so much of the support classes this year so I'm not sure if there's any other prospects other than Rory Skinner. I was pleased to see he's signed for Appleyard in Supersports for next year, it was shit that he got nothing from winning the British Talent Cup in 2018.

I could see Brad Ray going PBM.

Just came in to post that myself Phil. I think it is a strange move by PBM. Could have done a lot better.

How bizarre. Thought Bird may have splashed some chicken cash on tempting someone like Camier. Iddon is obviously a 'good' rider but I'm not sold on him as a quick at every circuit package. Burnacle also annoys me as he talks about him as if he's 19 or something but he's cracking on now.
Actually I think Bird should have nabbed Bridewell before he resigned that way he'd be pretty much guaranteed the title.

I like Iddon but he's 34, I can't see why PBM didn't take a punt on a youngster. Unless some ex-gp or wsb star signs (and there's no top rides left anyway, Tyco and Buildbase haven't announced any riders yet but I don't think they'd win whoever they put on it) I can't see anyone other than Brookes winning the 2020 title unfortunately. Bridewell will push him but I think will fall short again and in wsb Kawasaki is the bike to have but in Britain they only have Buchan and Jackson - they may get the odd win but aren't contenders for the championship. In my opinion there's a serious dearth of talent in BSB at the moment.

Any talented brits going the outside route? Then again even the Italians have suffered a bit. For how mad they are about bikes in general they've been outgunned by the Spanish a lot. I don't really expect much from Britain because we aren't bike mad, whereas we've always got some fucker from karting ready to be the next Hamilton.

Thats good for their sponsors who will get a lot of coverage for their money. Forres has gone back to WSB, so that leaves his place up for grabs on the new Fireblade. Is that bike going to storm to the front like the Ducati did? Will Honda throw some money/goodies in the BSB teams direction with their new bike? Who is left without a ride on the international scene? Reiterberger has said he wouldn't consider BSB.
