I snapped my brake lever at Estoril and I'm after a replacement. I was thinking of going for a "stubby" as I only use 2 fingers for braking and these caught my eye; bikeittrade.com/lvrb18sHas anyone got any thoughts or experience them?

ASV. Everything else is cheap shite in comparison Hmmm; after spending a relative fortune on my GSX-R recently (new engine, full service, brake service, new front discs, Estroil Farside trip etc), ASVs and Pazzos are a bit out of my price range! Paul: Have you had any experience with BikeTek levers?

yeah, they're cheap Pazzo copies. They're okay I suppose, especially if you just thrown a fortune at your bike as it is. They do look and feel cheap though...

Im also not a fan of stubbies (unless its the Australian stubby)! But thats just personal preference...I don't like to have stuff missing when Im braking!

Well, it's a toss up between that or an OE replacement; I fancied a short lever because I only ever use two finger braking.
Also, the original snapped whilst unloading the bike from the transporter in such as way that the brakes still worked, but the brake light microswitch wasn't being activated. I had to cable tie the lever in such a way the it wouldn't flap about when it wasn't being used. A stubby would help to avoid the lever being caught.
Oddly though, clutch changes are done with all four fingers though!
Thanks for the info.
