I follow MotoAmerica and I'd say Gerloff is equal to Luke Mossey speed wise. But he has the potential to improve.

Luke Mossey's train has certainly derailed.

I think we have seen the best of Mossey. He will never win another BSB race again. Gerloff has potential to improve but we all know he is only there because the series needs an American.

I like Catalunya, been to MotoGP there a few times.... did a track day there too....You lucky, lucky bastard. I was due to do a day there back in 2003 with Farside, but unfortunately the circuit 'accidentally' double booked us with the Ferrari F1 test team. Our theory was that Ferrari wanted to conduct some tests and the circuit said, 'Yeah, no problem, we'll just cancel this trackday for a bunch of Brits on their road bikes'. Since then the cost to hire has Catalunya gone through the roof. Farside are looking at 3 days at Misano next year, but it'll cost £1,200 just for track hire & bike transport; add in hotel, hire car and 'refreshments' and you'll be looking at close to £1,800.

Looks like Honda are taking wsbk more seriously next season with Puig in charge and transferring some of the MotoGP team to wsbk.

I thought turn 1 is a lot tighter than it looks on TV, I was braking a lot earlier than I needed to but couldn't tell myself to brake later. Its a great for spectating as well. Hopefully they will open up all the good grandstands to watch from. With Oschersleben being added to the calendar, I wonder what tracks are being taken off, if any.

They should have transferred Lorenzo. He could be king again in WSB.

When I did it it was 50 euros a session!....turned up, got the paperwork out of the way, no "classroom" instruction and no on track instruction, you just go on with it!...superb. Of course I went off too fast, which I told myself not to do, and was knackered pretty quickly (15 minute sessions)..mind you, it was 35C and I wasn't exactly road-bike fit never mind track fit!...great fun though. T7 caught me out, you into it downhill then left uphill...I ended up on the grass...Also T12 I bottled it!!....you learn a hell of a lot about yourself and how superior your bike abilities are on track!

It is one of, if not the favourite circuit of the guy that organising Farside events. We all got a refund, but I was also looking forward to the 3 ride there and back through France and over the Pyrenees... this was way before Fly/Ride events became popular.
The last two Farside events that I did prior to Estoril in September, SLovakiaring and Almeria, I made excellent progress with my track riding. But at Estoril, just one corner, Turn 4, completely threw me and it buggered up my entire lap. I could not get it nailed.
