I was under the impression that the UK would initially adopt ALL EU standards as they are, covering all aspects of manufacturing, produce, etc. then alter them to suit "our vision". I'm fairly sure that this was announced during Theresa May's negotiations.

This is the way I saw it as well, rather than tear up all of the rules and start from scratch so as to bring new rules in gently. |
