This is me and my two day old daughter Summer on Saturday night waiting for the wsbk race to start. I genuinely didn't set this up for a photo opportunity, I didn't even know it had been taken until I started getting Facebook comments about it.  Neither of us stayed awake until the end but it was still a pretty magical moment. |

Had a drama with Amazon the other weekend. Ordered some engine oil for my car (Paid £22.75 delivered for 4 litres of Castrol Magnatec stop start 5w-30w. Usually over £30 in shops) It was due to arrive on Tuesday but I got a text message at 09:30 Sunday morning that it was out for delivery and on it's way. Hadn't planned for that so I had to drive from my old house and back to my flat to sit indoors on my own for the best part of six hours waiting for it to arrive. Then drove back home. 25 mile round trip in shitty traffic via M25 and A13. Both roads are hell at the best of times. Had I known this I would have just paid £33 for it in Tesco's as I'm in there all the time. My free time is worth more to me than the few quid I saved. Amazon driver turned up in a fucked old white transit van that was last new in the early nineties. He then empty the contents of the van onto the wet grass looking for my parcel. It took him five minutes to find it! Imagine how packed that van was when he set off over six hours earlier. I was going to give him a piece of my mind but I could not be bothered. Read an article a couple of days later on how mistreated Amazon drivers are. Glad I did not add to that guys burden.
