Pantah, I think we could see a Conservative government in Scotland if it carries on like this. Are you on the same meds as Abbott ? If you were hypothetically forced to vote for a Conservative MP who was patently competent or Abbott who'd been parachuted in as a safe seat candidate, who would you vote for?

I knew i shouldn't have commented on this thread, i like motobanzai but after the arguments on the last forum which virtually scunnered me i swore i would just do bikes and that Mr Mason is what i'm going to do.
With respect, no comment.

Mate of mine was dreading sending the kids to school today, they're Muslim, cracking footballers, active members of the youth club and third generation in this country. However they'll be Paki Bastards for a few days from some of the kids who's parents are supporters of Islamaphobia and talk when they should be listening. Nowt like a bit of pigeon holing and no harm done eh.

Vazy, I've worked in several Muslim countries and moderate Islam is a very good religion, really nice people. The problem is that if you follow the Koran and Hadiths literally then you can't really be a moderate Muslim.
What forms my main view is that if there is widespread civil disturbance in the future in the UK or from Europe, and that is very possible, all British Muslims will partition based on religion and not National identity.

Fucking hell, just when you thought Diana Abbott couldn't get any stupider, she compares changing her mind on the IRA to a change of haircut. The Tories must be pissing themselves that Labour have the equivalent of Sarah Palin as Shadow Home Secretary. She is an UTTER FUCKWIT and a Janus cunt. LOL at anyone voting for these cunts just because of something Thatcher did (which was inevitable in the face of world competition) more than 30 years ago. Corbyn and Abbott would be like voting in members of the 6th Form Marxist group.

She isnt very good at interviews is she I wonder if she is actually any good at her job, she might be better than the dimwit she comes across as. Cameroon called the EU referendum thinking the vote to stay was a safe bet..... May called this election to strengthen her hand, but in the YouGov poll they reckon a hung parliament yougov.co.uk/uk-general-election-2017/After the 18-24 year old age group seemed to give the EU referendum vote a miss and then complained, maybe they will vote this time and vote labour as they dont want a hard Brexit?

I like Labours manifesto and a couple of mathematical slip ups aside, they have performed this campaign with dignity. The tories and the press on the other hand have been disgraceful. You only have to look at Facebook feeds and twitter to see their only form of attack is bile. It reminds me of the Kinnock years, and in some respects the late John Smith. Both good honest politicians but too 'left' for the establishment and as such they are dragged over the coals. A real shame that Corbyn, a man with some actual substance and morals is paraded as some loony leftie 'terrorist sympathiser' (I swear Ill go spare if I hear that again)... To be honest I was right down the middle about this time last year, but the hate campaign directed towards Labour and Corbyn has pushed me right back left.

LOL at Yougov. Even they said the poll had a 45% margin of error.
Fucking hell Paul, Kinnock was a prize cunt of the highest order. Hated the monarchy until he became Lord Neil and showed his true self by shamelessly sticking his nose in the EU trough.
The KINNOCKS SECRET FORTUNE: Campaigners from Open Europe, which argues for greater transparency, calculated the Kinnock’s multi-million-pound earnings from EU allowances, wages and pension entitlements over a 15-year period. Their salaries and perks included: A total of £775,000 in wages for Mrs Kinnock and £1.85m for her husband, adding up to £2,625,000; Allowances for Mrs Kinnock’s staff and office costs of £2.9m; A £64,564 “entertainment allowance” for Lord Kinnock; A total of five publicly-funded pensions, worth £4.4m, allowing them to retire on £183,000 a year; A housing allowance that allowed them both to claim accommodation costs even though, as a married couple, they lived in the same house in the Belgian capital between 1995 and 2004.

I'm not allowed a vote as I've been out of the UK too long....but I'd struggle to pick a party if I could vote!....
I'm sure JC is a decent chap, even if he is a wee bit "student politics" for me. But if Labour win power he'll need to make some serious concessions, especially with that prick McDonnell pulling the strings behind him...I worry more about his potential influence tbh...
Chairman May doesn't seem to have played the blinder that she thought by calling a GE...
And I don't believe that ANY party can say their respective manifestos are "fully costed", that's pie in the sky and electioneering bullshit.

We should only treat this referendum as a Brexit vote to give the government a strong mandate for negotiation to get ourselves out of the EU. Nothing else matters in the UK and surely we can survive another 5 years without more laws being made? The Labour party is in total disarray at the moment and incapable of running a car boot sale never mind withdrawal from the EU. For me the correct negotiating position is no negotiation, it is the only clear way. We just become one of the many very prosperous nations that trade with the EU from outside of the single market rather than one of the ones inside who are being dragged down by the EU. Once formally out we negotiate
For any out there who like a good read get the Yanis Varoufakis book Adults in the Room about Greece (Defaultistan) and it's "rescue" by the EU. I challenge anybody who reads this to have a further thought about the craziness of staying in this corrupt organisation. Today George Soros branded it as dysfunctional and a failure. He's far too kind
