My son is a bit of a photographer. I'm sure we can arrange something. Probably be me doing the knee down though.

I will post some photos later of what I have been up to. Ended up having to use the shed to paint in so it is once again a total mess. Tank in primer but it re-acted badly. Spent hours fucking about with it and now have it stable. Will give it another coat tomorrow to be sure before I put some white paint on. Got tail piece painted in white. Spent hours bleeding the brakes this morning. Got front one done in about 30 minutes using the old tap the line and squeeze the lever method to get all the air out. Moved onto the back brake and could not get it to build pressure. Everything is new on the rear set-up except the caliper body. It is under slung and these can be a pain for trapping air but the bleed valve was at the top, so I couldn't work out why it was being a cunt?
Ended up going out and buying a Gunson brake bleed kit. Adapted it to fit a motorcycle reservoir and had the thing bled in about a minute. At just £20 they are a handy bit of kit. You can use them to bleed all four corners of your car on your own.
Fitted ignition barrel and a few other bits and pieces. Feel dog shit now. Glands are swollen. Bastard. Fury better win tonight.

Not sure what a Gunson is but I got one of those kits off ebay where it sucks the fluid through rather than the old pump routine. PRobably same thing as a Gunson and a lot easier. Must do the TT sometime as the brakes as soft as shit.
My VFR brakes as fucking useless but I'm a bit stuck as my insurance doesn't cover mods. I remember the ZX6 brakes being pretty good but the VFR is woeful at stopping. The ultimate solution is apparently to lift a front end off a 2005-CBR600 of some sort. Unless you have a mate with a bent CBR it seems a waste of money unless you really must have a VFR that stop and handles like 600.

That's looking nice. Wish I had about £6k+ spare to indulge my stroker dreams. I know there plenty of RS125s about for ok money but I watched a vid of some lad thrashing one and it's a lot of work for very little payoff when bigger stuff can breeze past without even hitting the powerband. Maybe on a track you'd stand a vague chance but you're dead on the road.
I remember having a RG125F and my mate had a ZXR400. Used to get frustrating.

The gunson forces fluid into the system under pressure using your tyre as the air source. It is bloody good. I'd rate it 10/10.

I'd rather a well sorted and trick RS125 than a larger capacity bike. Might only do 105 MPH top speed but it will be loads of fun. Especially if you upgrade the suspension and brakes.

Got up after a few hours sleep and tidied up the shed. Had to re-bleed the front brake and cleaned up a ton of plastic bits. Vinyl wrapped a few plastic trim parts to tidy them up. Exhaust should be here early next week. Soon as it arrives I will fire up the little aprilia and film how sexy it sounds

These are excellent Droog.
Another trick is to pull the lever to the bar, wrap a bungee round to hold in place, leave it overnight and you'd be surprised how well it works.
Black magic.

Only reason I had to re-bleed it was I finally got the stainless steel bleed nipple for the front

Hard to see any difference but I have fitted the tank fuel tap and fuel cap. Had to solder on the old fuel gauge plug as the new one was a different fitment. Rear end under tray is fitted along with a few other parts. Done some more vinyl wrapping also. Came in to drink Jack Daniels and coke. Let the girls go in the shed to smoke their contraband as it is cold outside. Responsible parenting.

Got let down on the exhaust. It never turned up and I only just got my money back via ebay. Ordered up another exhaust, indicators, rear light and some side panels. Decided I don't like how the solo rear seat converter looks so I got a second hand rear seat off of ebay and will have it recovered. Only have various nuts, bolts and screws plus a radiator and the fairing/screen left to buy. I think/hope. Tank sticker is signed by Eugene.
