Thought the tyre changes were a farce. Ok for motogp with bike changes but the race shouldn't be won by mechanics. Penalizes the riders who can save their tyres. Do WSB still run a single bike rule per rider?

To stopped rushed botched wheel changes I think they get an allotted time for tyre changes, go under that and its a ride through penalty. Seems PI creates major issues for the tyre manufacturers making a tyre which lasts the distance, particularly if the temperature isnt what is forecast. 1 rider had a tyre go pop in R1, hence the pit stops. I hope they dont make it a norm.

How difficult would it be to incorporate EWC wheel changing tech? If you not allowed to run two bikes, then this would help quicken pit stops and I can't see it being that expensive!
