WTF was Bagnaia playing at in the practice start session?
You can't go dawdling on the racing line with the rest of the bikes doing practice starts behind you, he should know that surely?
He can complain all he wants but he was lucky it wasn't worse.

The Acosta incident was funnier.
Why isn't Iannone riding? I know he said he wasn't fit enough last time.

So, it will be decided tomorrow. Late pace from the Beast today.

Decent races. I was pleased to see Martin get it.
Dicko down again. He really is shit or bust isn't he?

Well that was a bit of an anticlimax in all the races tbh.
Moto3 seemed sort of inevitable. I'm glad Alonso is moving up. No point staying around as champion, it can only do you harm when you've had that sort of season. It was ok for a bit I guess.
Moto2 was a bit closer as I thought Canet would bottle it like he normally does as he seems to have race pace minus 1 lap. As concerns the Dixon incident I guess it wasn't really his fault but at least it will give him a story of adversity to talk about next time he gets on the podium. Not sure how Ogura will go next year but it was time to move or he would get stuck in Moto2 forever. At least he didn't move to Honda.
Motogp was boring and as soon as Aleix started putting the moves on The Beast I guess the tension went out of the race. Then again I didn't want to the title decided by stupid tactical moves. Ducati don't really have anything they've lost out of this. I'd say the fact that a non-factory team can win strengthens the brand more.
Anyway, congratulations to Martin, I did think he'd bottle it but he didn't. I don't think he'll get another shot at the title on the Aprilia as it stands especially as one of the chief engineers is leaving. The title celebration was a bit cringe but it I guess it was not quite as bad as Toprak's flying saucer. Fuck knows what Hayden would have donw in the current theatrical era, probably some MAGA thing. Seems to be a bit of needle on twitter that Pecco is better but I suppose he isn't as he fell off too often. Those are the rules. I think Marquez will win next year anyway.
Here's to 2025 and hopefully ALL the other manufacturers can get it together as Ducati are getting boring as I think there's the potential for MM and PB to clean house next year.
Side note - just realised Binder beat Acosta. Odd seeing as I can't remember Binder doing anything of note this season. Oh well.

Wasn't the most exiting day of racing. What has happend to Colin Vijer? Seems to have lost his mojo.
Looking forward to 2025 with quite a bit of different riders / teams.
Really hopeing for Yamaha to improve and that Martin smokes the ducatis

I think the biggest mis-signing for 2025 is Vinales. That guy had about 3 good races and then he was back to his usual underperforming best.

I thought both the Moto3 and Moto2 races were great this weekend. Overtakes from Alonso and Moreira on the last laps were fantastic to watch.
Shame Canet took so long to find his mojo / got injured this year because really he's been consistently better than Ogura for the last few months. Not to take merit away from the Champion though.
I noticed the big farewell party and messages and hugs in the Aspar garage for Izan Guevara, didn't see anything for Dixon though, I guess they just handed him his P45 as he walked through the box after the crash.
Moto GP was a bit dull, everyone being too cautious, but what could they do?
I was expecting / hoping that Marc would take one of trademark elbows out lunges at Pecco, but nah, even Marc was playing it safe.
Bit annoying how Aleix claimed he'd helped Martin clinch the title. Not really, sorry.

I imagine in 2 years there'll probably be a whole host of MotoGP retirements.

M3 was fantastic, didn't see M2. MGP was Ok for a few laps, I thought MM would challenge FB but he faded (I don't think he was playing it safe he just didn't have the pace and was losing out to the '24 machine advantages like acceleration out of corners so any time made up was quickly lost). Congrats to JM, well deserved.
