Looks like the last GP of the season at Valencia is doubtful after the floods of the last few days. The circuit itself, the track, is OK, but the buildings and infrastructure has serious damage which they doubt can be repaired to sufficient level in two weeks. Not sure if they will look for an alternative circuit... Jarama should be free though!

Terrible scenes, 1 years worth of rain in 8 hrs....FFS. I think the best Dorna can do is run the race somewhere else in Spain and donate all proceeds to the relief.

There hasn't been any mention of the flooding on the MotoGP website! With the damage which has occurred to the circuit and surrounding areas, not to mention the loss of life, you'd think that they'd have said something!

With the damage which has occurred to the circuit and surrounding areas, not to mention the loss of life, you'd think that they'd have said something! That's bad, then again, MotoGP is much more important to Dorna than your everyday natural disaster and loss of life!! Looks like the Valencia government President has a few questions to answer.....I suppose doing the media rounds and getting a certificate for tourism is more important! www.politico.eu/article/spain-valencia-floods-death-toll-carlos-mazon/“ According to the forecast … it is expected that around 6 p.m. its intensity will decrease” in the Valencia region, he said, possibly referring to AEMET’s “red” warning, which at the time was in force until 6 p.m. that day. Fortunately, he added, the storm had so far passed without any material damage, without any hydrological alert, and everyone is very vigilant.” Ummmm....how'd that work out Mr Mazon?

Fucked situation. Motogp rider opinion seems to be split about whether to even hold the round. I guess waiting until tomorrow to see if a final round is needed is the best way forward.

Been reading that Dorna's contractual doings with TV will stipulate the round has to be run which puts the kibosh on other rumours about the last round being forgotten about if Martin wraps up the title in Malaysia. I really hope Jerez runs it, if not there well then Aragon will do for me.

I'll put my hand up for Thruxton, Bagnaia & Martin level on points going into that last chicane 7 abreast.
