He clearly lost time due to fluffing the start, despite using Morbidelli as a berm (good to see Frankie is still useful for something in MotoGP), so that would possibly account for some of the race time difference. 

In terms of lap times though, I think that Marc as a rider should be capable of matching what FB did a year ago. There were surely differences in temperature, wind speed / direction etc.
