IOM is a good shout. Stuck it on the to do list.
Next year for the races might be worth a trip also - get to see abit of history when Michael passes Joeys all time win record

Dunlop should have no trouble getting a decent bike next year after this year's efforts.

He’s untouchable on the twins and you’d think the 600s too whatever he’s riding

I got back from a 1500 mole road trip to Millau last Saturday and pretty much every town and village now has 30kph limits and speed bumps... They're a killer on the wrists! Plus, I found that the roads in France have become rougher since the last time that I was there 5 years ago!
I'm heading into Wales on Thursday for 3 nights, using Rhayader as a base... even though I live about an hour or so away, I'm staying with some mates who are riding up from London. We mainly use challenging B roads, so hopefully we'll not see too many plod during the trip!

The weather looks as though it might be a bit of a mixed bag, but we'll see how it goes... last year we ended up chasing the rain!

Got back from my Picos de Europa trip on Saturday, stunning scenery and amazing roads with virtually no traffic. Need to go back and travel further west, didn’t have long enough to do all the roads we wanted to. Bloody brilliant!!

Stayed in Potes.....eastern side of the Picos. In hindsight, I think somewhere more to the west wouldve been better for access to the Asturias roads, Oviedo or Gijon maybe. I know for next time.

My long weekend in Wales was a bit of a mixed bag weather wise, but after looking at weather reports and weather apps (using the radar features), we planned our ride outs accordingly. Overall, I did about 600 miles and I didn't see one copper! The only issue I had was yesterday when I was riding home... The left-hand foot peg snapped off mid-corner and my foot hit the ground with some force... my boot did it's job though! Luckily it was a relatively slow corner; if anyone knows it there are some lovely bends at the start of the A481, just as your turn off the A44, heading towards Builth Wells. I was properly cranked over, putting a lot of pressure through the peg and of it snapped! Squeaky bum time. After recovering the peg, I was able to cable tie back in place which allowed me to change gear, but I had to ride with my foot on the heel plate... Replacement already bought from eBay which came as a pair (LH & RH). I figured that if the left snapped off, then the right might not be too far behind!

Wow, that's scary! Was it the shaft which passes through the hanger that snapped or the bolt which retains it?
I bought a set of Valtermoto rearsets a few weeks ago for mine, have't got round to fitting them yet but seeing this has made me think it's more important than I originally thought.
You were lucky (or heroic) not to end up in the ditch there Neil!

Did you keep it up with your knee, then elbow…a la Marquez?

Nah; shoulders, elbows and knees are so old school... I channelled by inner Chuck Norris, out stared the ground into submission and it moved away from my bike!
