The field is still a little spread out. No top 20 within 1s like Motogp. I do wonder if the series does need a stock ECU or something like BSB.

WSB is the only major series where the manufacturers can tinker with their chosen ECUs and software; I can't see them entering factory teams if this provision is removed.

It's a shame as it's not quite as good as it first seems if you take this top 3 battling thing that's been going on for the last few years. BMW and Honda are mysteriously wank.

Yet in BSB Superstock, where you can us your own ECU/loom/rider aids, BMW, Honda and Suzuki have won the last 5 years between them.

I wouldn't go out for a ride if there was a 66% chance of rain!

Routine win for Bautista, looked pretty comfortable there. Kawasaki must be worried, Rea in particular.

Locatelli seems to have upped his game this year. Kawsaki seem to have gone the wrong way with something, got beaten by independent Ducatis & Yamaha, and a BMW and a Honda.
Rinaldi looked like he might take out Bautista, until he settled for hitting Bassini.

Bassini has impressed me the last couple of seasons, could be one to watch. If I was Rinaldi I'd be looking over my shoulder.

Bautista making it look easy. Ducati have upped their game. Kawasaki struggling. The BMW looks a bit better with Van Der Mark on board, don't know what happened to Redding but petulant behaviour doesn't do him any favours. Bet his team are getting fed up with his outbursts.

Better race throughout the field than I expected. Bit ominous that Bautista is pissing off quite so easily.
Petrux did ok as did Bassani. Rea must be wondering what has gone wrong.
Redding will find himself persona non grata if he carries on.

Eventful Superpole race for the wrong reasons!...The first incident started with Lowes clipping Petrucci, this caused Lowes to tag Baz (as I saw it). The second incident after the restart involving Lowes and Baz has resulted in a fracture to his (Baz)right leg. His leg whipped up after contact with Lowes bike(the wheel maybe?). Bautista pushed wide by Rea (hard but fair) and hits the slippery part, Rea lucky not to highside.

Baz stuck his leg out under Lowes wheel jut as Lowes was committed to the overtake. Surprised this hasnt happened before. Broken Tib and ankle I think they said. Bautista starting from 10th in R2 made things closer for a while. Racing was ok overall, but seeing as the Ducatis have overturned a 4 second Yamaha advantage last year it might not be so close next round.

When leg dangles go wrong.....
Good days racing. Lowes probably won cunt of the month award after both races though.
Not sure he should have bee racing after causing the accident that brought out the red flag.
Rindaldi will probably be out of a job by summer.
