Yeah but he's the new "thinking man's Marc Marquez" no reason to risk life and limb to win if a 5th place is good enough.
Seriously though, I think he has changed a bit, and if he does win one this year it will be Valenthia, just to prove to himself that he still can and to set things in motion for the winter / start of 2023.
Can't see him pushing for the win in PI.

Miller has claimed he's sandbagging. We shall see.
Fabio's gonna need some good drive out of that last corner not to get Ducati'd in the race. I'd still like to see Zarco win one.

The question is would Zarco pull over and let Bagnaia past if in that quandrum... One thing is to not overtake, another is to let someone by...

Knowing Zarcos luck he'll win, do a backflip and then wheelchair himself.

I don’t think he’s sandbagging but he’s being sensible, and a sensible Marc Marquez is still better than most. He won’t be bike fit yet either so no need to take stupid risks when there’s nothing to fight for. 2023 is what’s important. Agree wrt Zarco.

M3. Izan Guevara takes the title with a stunning last lap performance after a race long trading places he just clears off.
M2. Lopez clear winner even with a LL penalty at the start. When they asked him after he said I dont know. Ogura struggled then gifted the championship by an unforced crash by Fernandez.
MotoGP. Thats the end of Millar's title hopes by Alex Marquez (17th in the championship). No hope of passing Marini(?) so he lets the brakes off and clobbers Millar. FQ desperate to keep up after losing places on the straights nearly wipes out a few losing control on the brakes. Bagnaia for the title odds on now, unless he has a dnf. Maylaysia has long straights. Yamaha need to up their game for next year, their 2nd team deserting them tells a story.
Who had Rins for the win? Amazing result after a 2nd and 3rd early on when the factory Ducatis were struggling.

Shocker by AM, what was he thinking…Miller got off lightly considering the impact and that he new nothing about it. Superb ride by Rins, he wasn’t on my radar for a podium never mind the win. Bezzechi G8?..gets into 2nd behind Bags for a couple of laps then falls back(cynical…moi?) or did he just get beaten up in the fight?…. MM impressive, especially as he was on the soft rear. FQ needs a miracle now to win the title.

Well that illustrated what a shame it is the Suzuki is leaving. The Honda seemed the slowest of that lot on the straights. Looks like Marc is back to the form to potentially win anyway. FQ has just fallen apart like 2020. Next race will end of FB as champion.
Pity Ogura couldn't look a gift horse in the mouth a bit more but some points is better than none I guess. Acosta appears to the learning quickly again.
Well done Guevara. Reeled him in.

Classic PI race. Shows what a good track does compared to a boring "Tilke Coathanger" layout.
Great M3. IG has the edge.
M2. Ai was lucky there, but sorry M2 was boring as usual.
M3, what a race, one for the history books. Sorry for Miller. AM out of control. Such a shame Suzuki are quitting.
Quatto overiding and making big mistakes.

Its clear that the Yamaha is slow compared to the other factory bikes. They actually give statistics for each race you know. FQs issues this year has been a slow bike down the straights, wrong tyre pressures at Thailand, trying too hard this race, and the people who just dont seem to like him and keep spouting crap.

I was on about that pack actually leading the race thanks. We all know poor Fabio has the slowest bike and it's terribly unfortunate for the poor lad.

Motos 2 and 3 were 'interesting' but the main event was brilliant.
Bloody shame that Suzuki and pissing off.
