Early, but both Vinales and Mobidelli showed pace in FP1. Rins was looking confident.

Not Marc Marquez. I wonder if attendance will be down? Probably. Motogp seem to be doing it wrong when they have a good product. Overcharging tickets, overcharging video pass vs F1 pass. Not hyping racers and controversies. There IS a hole left after VR and doesn't help the MM is broken. I think the racing is good and the level is very close and high, but that doesn't get the man in the street excited. I hear all the dads at my sons fotball matches, F1, F1, F1, they are into it. MGP is trying too hard to be F1 and it will never be. Need a different approach. Just my 2p. |

WSB (i.e "normal bikes") is producing much better racing, MotoGP needs to dial back the tech. Get rid of wings, ride height tech....the racing is close but there's less passing.

MotoGP doesn't need to become WSB.
MotoGP should be full on prototypes, allowing innovations and development. The problem with that is deepest pockets wins and people get bored.
If the best racing is in WSB, maybe prototype racing is just destined to die out?

They (bt) seem to think the key is tyre longevity tomorrow. The Aprilia usually seems ok on the tyres. I'd like Fabio to have a shit day to change the title dynamic a bit.
