Well, on one hand I think I can understand that maybe Scott though that the bike wouldn't be so bad and that he could take it that bit further than the previous riders, but given that he got stung with that Honda semi-MotoGP shite that ruined his GP career you'd think it was a case of once bitten ...

But the truth is that the bike really does appear to suck quite badly. Scott as a rider is clearly capable of more, so if BMW are doing their best it sadly doens't seem to be good enough.

I hope Scott's pay check is good at least.

BMW are overrated in motorsport. They have a lot of motorsports history but their glory days were decades ago. They made some pretty iconic looking stuff in the car world but I reckon their last wtf car was the Z3m batmobile. The past few generations of M3 are just variations on a theme and nobody makes shit cars now anyway.

Their superbike efforts were probably best in 2012 when Melandri decided to crash out 4 times in a row and let Max and Sykes back in. For some reason they just can't get it right. Just buy a R1 and pull it to pieces.
