Yeah but there is no grass so coulda woulda shoulda…..were they Rossi fans causing a ruckus by any chance? ;-) No vr fans, just journo. Rukus was maybe a strong word. Was more about track limits and penalties. Had MM crossed the line first, he could have been demotet to 2nd for exeeding track limits. Discussion was if that is right and if it is heading in the the wrong direction?

Was that where MM went quite a long way onto the green on the last lap? If so, if he had come back and beaten FB then he should be penalised. They didnt drop him down to 3rd as he had a clear lead over JM. Is it more than 3s they use? I do think the need to look at where they put the green paint though. Where Toprac crossed onto it shouldnt be green. Next track Misano, at the last corner I think they have painted green where the corrugated kerb ends abruptly, they should taper the green in more gently to make it a smooth line.

No, that was a given, it was earlier on in the lap from what i understand, just a fraction on the green.

on the last lap, marc ran onto the green in turn one then well onto it at twelve. had he managed to win, he would definitely have been demoted. they do need to tighten up on this though. when acosta and garcia went at it in austria (i think) pedro made a move on sergio who fell (i think) and ran well wide on the exit but race direction did nothing. equally, brad binder on slicks was on the green everywhere in that rain affected race. sure, it would have been harsh to penalise him but if you exceed track limits without being forced onto it by another rider, that's it. rules are rules. there is no exceptional bravery clause as far as i'm aware. pecco changed to wets, didn't exceed track limits and comes home second.
totally agree about misano, phil. so many flying laps have been chalked off because of that tiny slither of green on the exit of turn sixteen.

Like Toseland said......THOSE LOWES BOYS ARE CRASHERS! He does know his stuff. Raul did that with a busted right hand a week Friday ago which needed surgery as well. He won it by some margin as well. Over 8s ahead with 2 laps to go. 5 races left and Gardner has 39 points lead. There is only him, Fenati (yes really) and Quatararo who have scored points in every race across all the classes. I cant see Gardner losing this. Ooops.
