50 minutes in and a closer race for the lead than WSB, just 0.086s in it.

Shows the level of the main championship runners though when the series leaders have already been lapped.

Safety car. That was lucky for the Honda team.

I also lasted a couple of hours before nodding off. I taped the last 2 hours and watched later. 3 in a row for Nakasuga. Lowes looks a different rider in the 8-hour. Maybe he pushes too hard in WSB as the Yamaha WSB bike is a bit lacking against the Kwak & Duc. Do Kawasaki have to turn the wick down in endurance to make the bike last the 8 hours, although the engine is restricted to 6 per season (1 per every 2 rounds).

I'm starting to think that the 'factory' WSB Yamaha's are more than a couple of steps behind the Kawasaki and Ducati teams. It was never a full factory effort, more of a factory supported team but even with this years changes to the team, I think Yamaha needs to make a decision on whether they want to win or take a lucky podium twice a year. Lowes is obviously overriding the bike in WSB.
