Its been an odd season with tyres affecting everyone but when the Yamaha goes from a consistent performer to almost bi-polar there's a lot wrong somewhere.
Someone posted an article about bike performance finally outreaching tyre capability on a site elsewhere and you have to wonder if its true.
Who knows who'll win the fucker.

Who knows who'll win the fucker. it's possible mate but i just think the 'improvements' to the 2017 works bike are making it hard to set up and it's compounded by the fact that michelin are less than consistent with the tyres they're bringing to each round. i remember in 2004 honda made huge changes to the RC211v which meant none of the riders could make the hard tyre work. it just spun up. so they used the soft michelin which wouldn't go race distance. i wonder whether michelin aren't just choosing tyres to suit race tracks. in 2015 at assen, marquez was talking to spanish television on thursday and said he had no idea why they brought the tyres they brought to that race. then he said 'well we all know why they've brought them...' and looked over at valentino giving an interview next to him. the journo asked if he'd queried it with michelin and he said 'i daren't!'. then valentino overheard what he was saying and crashed his interview but it was really interesting. watch the BT sport jorge lorenzo film from 2015 if you haven't seen it yet.

I watched the Lorenzo film tonight. Fascinating viewing showing behind the scenes stuff the like of which I'd never seen before. Try and watch it if you get chance.
