what an awesome and unique event the TT is.
130 plus for a lap record now, i remember Hailwood in 79 saying 112 or whatever was way too fast and now these lads are over 20 mph more.
Incredible stuff.

It sure is. Can't imagine what that adrenaline rush must be like doing it. I've just caught up with the last programme. Had a chuckle at Cameron Donald's comment "bet that wasn't all he changed" about Jimmy Hillier's interval shock absorber change. Pete Hickman must fell like he can walk back to the mainland. Amazing week for him.

Different breed really. They seem a bit like rally drivers in that they seem quite boring and dour, not like the usual racing extroverts.

Fair play to Michael Dunlop, brand new bike and wins the senior. Benefited from the red flag cos despite what he said post race, he wasn't going to win it, Hickman was. Terrible crash for Hutchy, hope he's going be ok, but it could have been much worse. These things have so much power now they're constantly dabbing the rear brake just to keep the nose down. What about that tank slapper from Hillier at the jump after Ballascary? Fucking hell he was just a passenger there. Comment of the week from Cam Donald when they took off after the re-start. Parrish said Hillier has changed his shock and Cam retorted it's not the only thing he's changed

The Nortons did well, both finishing both races and each lapping at 130mph +. Plus they look fantastic.
It'd be good to see one of the real "top" riders on it next year. It can't be far off a race winning bike.

Since the last time that he rode it, I reckon that Michael Dunlop could probably get it on the podium; it's a completely different beast and it's come on in leaps and bounds.

Hutchy had a front wheel blow out, and it seems he's broke the same leg again 'badly'

That's a shitty card to be dealt; there'll be nothing left of that leg before long

I like Hutchy but i find it strange the way he gets a strange sort of buz from showing the severity of his injuries.

Holy fucking shitballs: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/40682454He had his ankle removed. I thought it might have been taken apart for a rebuild. I didn't even think you could have an ankle removed.
