Well that's a bummer. I guess experience is one benefit of age but bouncing well isn't.

Mind games!
He is fine really! You watch how he complains of pain all through FPs, apparently struggles in Q (but manages to get onto the 2nd row) but then sets the fastest time in morning WUP on Sunday!

Rossi was on it at LeMans and think he has found something. Covering all bases should he not deliver.

he's in severe pain apparently but in my view, this is just a way to make a victory more sensational or a loss more palatable.
i remember lorenzo getting hurt in a training accident before motegi in 2015. he went quickest in FP1 and in the media, rossi called bullshÃt on the injury. but at the end of 2015 when he felt the title slipping away, valentino made up that whole 'marquez is bothering me and that's the reason i can't win' nonsense to mask the fact that he just wasn't quick enough.

Rossi declared fit to ride despite being in constant pain which will affect his ability to race at 100% so if he doesn't podium that's why but if he does it's because he's incredible. ;-) Better ? m.crash.net/motogp/news/251025/1/rossi-im-lucky-nothing-is-broken.html He's being pragmatic about it....one thing riding an R6, quite another riding the M1!... some good painkillers and he'll be grand.

Rossi is less than a second off a top 3 time in FP1. He is fine for a fast lap IMO. Race distance may be a different matter though... time will tell.

The top ten in FP2 made up of 4 factory riders and 6 private team riders.... when was the last time that happened ?
And 7 Factory riders outside of the top 10....

Good to see McPhee seems to have found his mojo.
I was beginning to wonder if it had been lost down the back of the sofa for ever....

Cal needs to work on a his aero or be given a new engine - 340kph. Just about slowest rider there in top speed.
