Dumped him off my MotoGP fantasy team, and put Miller in. He has been declared fit, but looked secondhand when leaving the medical centre. I think his ankle will balloon overnight. He is hard as nails though.

AE deserved the pole, but at least he will be in the race.

A Vinales win would be awesome. Be good if Aleix could suddenly have a team mate that could potentially interfere with Fabio.

Vinales will go backwards….AEsp, great job to get 2nd row after that huge high side but I don’t think he’ll figure in the race tomorrow. I’d like to see Miller or Zarco to win this one.

What did I say about that daft haircut! Title gone!
There is a theory to haircuts which I will release my working paper on soon but being 32 and having bleached hair is playing with fire. Going past 25 with daft hair at international level is a fool's game.
Scott Redding could get away with that stupid shit he had in BSB as he was an international level rider in a national championship.

Not a bad days racing. Vinales lacks killer instinct. He's a bit Pedrosa. I feel he had the pace to win but if he'd move up a few laps earlier he could have had a few goes at that. Good day for Asparagus only losing one point.
Moto3 was hectic stuff but I feel McPhee is never going to have the right racing brain. He always seems to make his moves in the wrong places or take lines that leave doors open. Good luck for Fogia though.
Podium for Dixon. Good ride, kept his head given the pressure from Canet. Fernandez is hot stuff.

Silverstone does make for great ring. mental M3, but as mentioned, McPhee has the pace, but too often is in the wrong place.
Mgo, good race. If Bastaninni could qualify better.
A good m2 also.

41k? No Rossi, no Marquez, no Brit in MotoGP, held at start of August when everyone is away on holiday? High ticket prices plus £40 for car parking (according to twitter replies)?
There was 51k at Donington WSBK (total weekend attendance). A massive improvement over recent 10 years.
I went to Donington, (£60 weekend ticket free parking) and it was busy, but I didnt have to queue in the van to get out, parked at the Esses. After WSBK R2 I watched the side cars then 1/2 a Ducati tri-options race and there was no queue.
I went to Silverstone BSB for Saturday. Some grandstands closed, best viewing is Luffield which is ok, but the general view at Silverstone is crap. Donington I wandered around the whole circuit over the weekend, and the viewing is much better.

Silverstone is wank. It's like viewing at a prison. Even when I was trackside it was still wank and miles from the action. I've never paid to go there, when I went to F1 we won the tickets.
I guess add in peak holiday time, stupid petrol prices and stupid ticket prices and you've got problems.
They should have bribed Rossi to do demo laps in his GT3 car.

I looked at the pricing a while ago and thought no way is it worth the expense going down there to see just three races. I used to put up with the relatively distant viewing at 70s & 80s Silverstone because it was a 6 or 7 race day, and even Donington when it became 3 races because the action from the infield at the esses was excellent, and the journey time was ok. But now......you must be looking at £250 - £300 for a day out, and obviously way more for the weekend, i'm not short of money but i refuse to be ripped off.

i'm not short of money but i refuse to be ripped off. My man. Can't say I'm well off but I'm not poor just quite particular about my spending. I'd maybe had fit it in if my Sunday evening holiday route had been near but seeing as I'm in Wales it wasn't really on the way. I actually was going to go to WSB but got norovirus and spent the weekend being violently ill.
