Well that Moto 3 heated up nicely. Bit of a can opener move but it worked.

A long time coming for AE & Aprilia, you could see their progress the last few years. AE kept it tense by running wide a couple of times. Brilliant. It just goes to show when you stick together and work through the problems it can lead to success. It would great to see them carry on in the same way and take the title. The bike is fast enough, it slipstreamed past Martin's Ducati a few times.

Moto3 was really good and better than I hoped it might be.
Moto2 better than average and good to have a scrap for the win. If only Dicko hadn't gone wide early. I'm paying more attention because of Acosta - he is getting better and better. Good sportsmanship after the tight finish.
Great to have a scrap for the lead and a maiden win is always good.

The poor fucker was the only one on the grid not to have won a race at all!
At least that is past him. I hope he goes on run now. Would be hilarious as apparently aprilia won't have to drop the concession until next season?

I'm pleased for Aleix and the team, but this win was on his 200th MotoGP race start, it was actually his 284th GP start. Not wanting to be cruel but the monkeys and typewriters analogy does spring to mind.
What I'm saying is that he really needs to follow up with more podiums, wins etc. otherwise it will be seen as a one off, but it looks promising.
Speaking of following up on maiden wins, Chantra looks like he might be the real deal, that was a great ride from him, not getting too hung up on the win and taking second. Not sure what happened to Lowes, tendonitis returned?
Not sure what to make about Vieti's swipe on Aldeguer, I was quite surprised that RD declared it a racing incident given considering the general rule of the rider returning to the racing line is obliged to check if its safe concept. I'd be pissed off if I was Aldeguer.
Moto3 was a good race, loads of blame going to Antonelli for his move on Masia, but Masia is lucky not to be penalised I reckon. Diogo Moreira might well find his way into my fantasy team soon!

The Vieti thing couldn't really be penalised seeing as a similar move just won the Moto3 race. I thought the Fogde sort of gave that away. Then again if he'd had tighened the line then maybe they'd have both crashed.
Back to earth for DBinder. Only the test rider behind him. This said, the KTM rookies were close.
Reckon Miller is already sacked. He needs a couple of hail marys to keep that factory ride. I bet he gets swapped out.

I'm glad someone else saw the similarity between Vieti / Aldeguer and Foggia / Garcia Dols. Foggia looked to have given it away, but maybe he just exercised the care that Vieti didn't? Jorge Martin must be in a dilema as prime candidate to replace Miller. Right now Pramac is probably the best Ducati squad to be in, with Factory Marlboro, sorry Lenovo, a distant 2nd, maybe even third choice.

Yeah not really much point in having a factory Ducati this year. The front ride height is banned from next year as well .
Pretty shit ride from FQ all things considered. I did think maybe he'd cut through once he got rolling but it never really happened. He goes ok at Texas though and it usually spreads out a lot more.

Saw the m3 race yesterday. Garcia went for that gap that really wasn't all there, but made it stick. Sasaki did a great race an nabbed 3rd from Suzuki and Rossi. pretty good as Sasaki hade a longlap and came from 19th.
